Fence installation in St. Catharines and across Niagara.
Privacy fences, backyard fences and chain-link — laid out on the right line, with posts set to last. From a single run along the back lot line to a full enclosure.

What a fence quote should spell out
- Fence type, height and total length
- Post spacing, and how the posts are set
- Gates: how many, how wide, and the hardware
- Where the line runs, and whose survey it's based on
- Utility locates before any digging
- Removal of an old fence, if there is one
For homeowners
A fence sits on your property line for decades, so where it goes matters as much as how it looks. The line gets confirmed before the first post goes in.

On a condo or townhome property, chain-link and privacy fencing mark lot lines, screen parking and enclose play areas — and it all has to match across the site.
- Consistent materials and heights across the property
- Repair and replacement runs, not only new builds
- Work scheduled around residents

Talk to us about your propertiesBefore anyone digs
In Ontario, underground utilities have to be located before anyone digs a post hole. Ontario One Call arranges the locates at no cost — it's a required step, not an optional one.
Pool enclosures, and fences over a certain height, usually need a municipal permit, and the rules differ from town to town. Check with your municipality before you commit to a design.
Wood or chain-link?
Chain-link is the practical choice: durable, low-maintenance, and good at keeping pets and kids in without blocking the view.
A wood privacy fence screens the yard and looks warmer, but it needs staining or sealing every few years to last.

Questions
Fences & chain-link: common questions
Do I need a survey before putting up a fence?
It's the safest way to know where the line is. A survey from when you bought the house is usually enough. A boundary dispute after the fence is up costs far more than checking first.
Do I need a permit for a fence?
Pool enclosures almost always do, and height limits apply everywhere. The rules are set by each municipality, so they differ between St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and the other towns — check before you commit.
Which areas do you cover?
St. Catharines (every part of the city), Niagara Falls (Mount Carmel, Chippawa and the Garner Road area), Thorold (Central Thorold, Confederation Heights, Rolling Meadows and Beaverdams), Fonthill, Niagara-on-the-Lake (Old Town, Virgil, Queenston, St. Davids and Glendale) and Welland. Close by and not sure? Ask — it's a quick answer.
