What a building's scope should spell out

Tenants use every path, every day.

At a rental building, the grounds aren't just curb appeal. They're how tenants get to the door, the bins and their cars, in every season.

A good scope starts from those routes and works outward, so the things tenants rely on are written down first.

A building is never empty

Someone is always home. Mowing times, where the truck parks, and how entrances stay clear while the crew works all belong in the plan agreed at the site walk.

If the superintendent is the one on site, they can be the contact. Name whoever should hear from the crew, and that goes in the scope.

Snow at a building

A building's snow scope covers more than a driveway: every entrance, the walks between them, steps, the parking area and the path to the bins. In St. Catharines — including Merritton, Western Hill, the Haig and Glenridge near Brock University — and Thorold, it's quoted as a managed site with a written trigger depth.

Apartment and multi-residential buildings: common questions

Do you clear parking areas at apartment buildings?

At residential buildings in St. Catharines and Thorold, the parking area can be part of the snow scope. We don't plow commercial lots.

Can the superintendent be our contact?

Yes. Tell us who should hear from the crew — the property manager, the superintendent, or both — and it goes in the scope.

Do you take one-off jobs at buildings?

Yes. Cleanups, tree and hedge work and eavestrough replacement can be quoted as one-off jobs, as well as recurring work on a contract.

Which areas do you cover?

St. Catharines (every part of the city), Niagara Falls (Mount Carmel, Chippawa and the Garner Road area), Thorold (Central Thorold, Confederation Heights, Rolling Meadows and Beaverdams), Fonthill, Niagara-on-the-Lake (Old Town, Virgil, Queenston, St. Davids and Glendale) and Welland. Close by and not sure? Ask — it's a quick answer. Snow removal runs in St. Catharines — including Merritton, Western Hill, the Haig and Glenridge near Brock University — and Thorold.

Tell us about the property.

A home, a condo corporation, or a list of sites — same form. If it's more than one property, say so and we'll ask for the list.

Anything else to include?

A request, not a booking. No obligation.
